Baby T.

After a long wait, Baby T. is finally here and I had the honor of making his first portraits. Welcome baby “T”, it was wondeful to finally meet you. :)

Have a Happy and Safe 4th of July!

Drafted by Thomas Jefferson between June 11 and June 28, 1776, the Declaration of Independence is at once the nation’s most cherished symbol of liberty and Jefferson’s most enduring monument. Here, in exalted and unforgettable phrases, Jefferson expressed the convictions in the minds and hearts of the American people. The political philosophy of the Declaration was not new; its ideals of individual liberty had already been expressed by John Locke and the Continental philosophers. What Jefferson did was to summarize this philosophy in “self-evident truths” and set forth a list of grievances against the King in order to justify before the world the breaking of ties between the colonies and the mother country.

Child – Forest Lake Wyoming, MN Child Photography

I can’t believe how fast kids grow up now days. It just seems like yesterday that this one was just born and now she is 8. I love going back and looking at all the changes from year to year.

Enjoy!

Maternity

I am officially a horrible blogger! I will try to do better, I promise!

Silhouettes are so fun to do, especially during a maternity session. Love doing these!

Enjoy the beautiful day!

Miss H. FLSH 2010 Senior

This silly girl loves the snow. :) We started her session last fall in the water and continued in the snow. Now that it is warm out, I don’t get the chills looking at these, there was a biting cold wind that day!

Enjoy the wonderfully warm day today!

Few More Bunnies

Here are a few more of the bunnies that we had in the studio. I really miss them and we might have to get some of our own to keep! ;)

Wedding: Dan and Mirranda

Somehow my posts that I had ready for past posts didn’t post and dissapeared. I think when I upgraded my blog software, it must have deleted the posts I had ready to automatically post. So much for technology..most likely operator error though…lol So over the next week, I will be posting some of my favorite past weddings and playing forever catch up with what has been going on in the studio!

Here is Dan and Mirranda’s story. Enjoy!

Bunnies

I don’t know how I am going to get these bunnies away from Katie. She brings them in and sits on the couch with them when I am not shooting with them. The dogs are even used to them now…lol

The dogs even like them. Duncan and Ellie like to know where they are and watch them, which FINALLY enabled me to get them to sit and look at the rabbit that I was holding…along with the camera. My dogs are the worst when it comes to taking photos of them, they won’t look at me. Who knew after 12 years all it would take to get Duncan to look at me with a camera in my hand was a rabbit…lol
