A late senior session this summer. The beautiful Kassie. Enjoy!

Here is another of my reps, the beautiful Janet….

My cousin Andy just graduated from North Central University and is now doing an internship in Guatemala. He will be down there for 2 months with no contact with the outside world. I thought that would be very interesting to do. It would be like going back in time with none of the electronics and Internet that we rely on in our day to day life.
My aunt called and asked us to come, so I had the privilege of attending the ceremony. It was a very uplifting experience, I have never been to a graduation ceremony like that before.

I think this is my favorite picture of Andy, it is just him….

After handing out all the diplomas, they had all the graduates come forward, and then all of their friends and family come up behind them.

They asked the friends and family to come forward and to put your hand on your loved one.

I did promise to not take or post any pictures of my aunt, but I lied! Please forgive me! I didn’t focus on your face, so that shouldn’t count, right??

Congrats again Andy, I am very proud of you! I look forward to you getting your own church, I can’t wait to hear you speak.
J. and I had a lot of fun during our session…so much so that when his mom came back to pick him up, we weren’t done yet.

I had the privilege of shooting some seniors from Coon Rapids High School.
This group of boys have been playing together since elementary school. When you have teams that are made up of boys like this, it is a recipe for success. It reminded me so much of my brother and his group of friends in football. They too along with their coach played together from 2nd grade through 9th grade. They lived and breathed football. When they played, they ran like a very well oiled machine. The rarely lost a game until they hit high school and didn’t get to bring their coach along with them. Seeing the Coon Rapids football field also brought back memories of sitting in the stands freezing my butt off even though we rarely sat for long because their team had us up on our feet cheering them on. Ahhhh, the nostalgia of school sports that I got to live vicariously through my brother and his friends (because I suck at sports!).
Back to these boys!!
They are on a roll and have won the AA Conference and Sections and are on their way to state. Josh and AJ also just got All State.
Congrats guys and I wish you all the luck!! Thanks for the awesome session, I had a lot of fun.
Off to work on a few albums. Have a great day!
What you ask? My new site! I have been working on it for the last few days and it is almost ready. I won’t have everything up on it that I want, but I wanted to get it up and going. I will be adding more information and images over the next few weeks. Hopefully I will have it up by tomorrow afternoon if all goes as planned, so keep your fingers crossed for me.
This year is Katie’s second and last year of preschool. She is just growing up way to fast, she is going to pass me up soon..lol Ok, back to work on the site, have a great day!
