My little monster started swimming lessons yesterday. I was so proud of her! For a kid that won’t put her face or ears in the water, I think she did awesome! I could tell she was a little nervous at first, but the two instructors seem to be really good with kids that are water challenged. 
I have a feeling by the end of the class she won’t have a problem with getting her head wet!
We went on a short vacation up to Vermilion. It is just beautiful up there. Where else can you go and have a very happy hubby,
see bears up close,
killer sunsets 
and eagles fighting right in front of you over a fish? 
I do need to get a better point and shoot because I was kicking myself when the eagles were right in front of us. The poor little camera almost took a dive in the lake because I was so mad that it was so slow. Oh well, I guess that is the breaks!

We went to see Walking with the Dinosaurs last night. It was really neat, but it should have been a little longer and had a few more dinosaurs. I just don’t get why they need to have a 20 minute intermission when the whole show is only an hour and a half, but I guess that is just me! We had awesome seats though, I think we were in row 15 center stage. I need to get a better point and shoot for my purse. I think I was the only one NOT using flash like they asked..lol For some reason the ones without flash were looking better than when I tried with. Go figure, I can’t figure out a point and shoot…
I have been looking at updating my website to a flash site for a while. I know enough to be a dangerous webmaster. I was trying to change something in my portfolio and I broke it. That is why it still says it is under construction with just the photo holders of the individual galleries. I decided that it is just too much frustrating work for me to try to keep fixing what I am breaking and try to update the content so I figured I would just switch over to a flash site. They are very easy to manage and update so that I don’t have to spend so much time fiddling with it pulling my hair out. I finally narrowed it down to two sites that I really liked. I am taking an online workshop and I won one of the sites that I was debating between! I am so excited! I have been working on getting it all put together in hopes of getting it up and running within the next week or so. I will send out an email announcing the new site and a special to go along with it! Keep an eye out!

I am so far behind on blogging! I helped a Gina, a photographer friend of mine out with a boudoir session. She rented a room at the Hilton in Bloomington. I now know they only get that $300+ for a room because of the Hilton name. I have been in better rooms for half that price! We had a lot of fun with this session, it was a challenge to get some parts covered.
